Danielle Keesey Cox

Danielle Cox graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science. Before transferring to CSU, she attended the University of New Hampshire in their Equine Science program where she rode Dressage and competed on the university’s intercollegiate Hunter/Jumper Team. After graduation and becoming a partner at Future Hope Equestrian, she competed in the Arabian circuit, showing primarily Hunter Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and Sport Horse Under Saddle. Danielle trained and coached clients to Regional Championships and National Qualifications. In 2011, Danielle began riding with Canadian Olympian Gina Smith, as well as Wendy Riddell and more recently Lois Whittington. In 2014, she acquired her Bavarian Warmblood gelding, Alessandro and recently completed her scores for her USDF Bronze Medal. Danielle has also been very active in the last few years with training and coaching the newly formed discipline of Western Dressage. She had the pleasure of riding a client’s horse in front of Western Dressage co-founder Cliff Swanson to score in the 70s at Level 2. Danielle also has experience with jumping and coaching clients in low-level Eventing. She has trained with Scottsdale Eventing trainer, Frederic Bouland and coordinates with him to help bring the more advanced Eventing students along in their careers. Though Danielle can teach riders of all ages and levels, her passion is working with students who want to excel and advance, whether their goals are competition based or not. Danielle is a mother of two, Eva and Ethan, who are greatly enjoying growing up at the barn as they share the same love of horses as their mother.
